The Tempo, missing their top scorer Marina Mabrey due to injury, suffered a 101-69 defeat after falling 93-73 to Las Vegas the day before. Mabrey, averaging 20.8 points per game, has been sidelined for the past six games due to an adductor injury.

Phoenix dominated from the start, securing a 21-8 lead and maintaining control throughout the game. They led 27-17 after the first quarter, extended it to 58-35 by halftime, and closed the third quarter with a commanding 88-49 lead.
