Kim Kardashian has shared a heartfelt revelation concerning her children witnessing the actions of their father, Kanye West.
The 45-year-old reality star got married to rapper Kanye, 48, in 2014, and they had four children together before parting ways in 2022. Kanye, known for his controversial presence in the music industry, has been making headlines for his political statements and social media outbursts since their separation.
In the latest season of The Kardashians, which premiered on October 23, the founder of SKIMS, Kim, talked about her ex-husband. During the first episode, she was asked by producers about her thoughts when observing his behavior, to which she simply replied, “My poor kids.”
Kim expressed concerns about her children’s exposure as they grow older, mentioning that she aims to shield them from potentially harmful situations. She mentioned that her role as a mother is to ensure their protection during challenging times.
The former couple shares four children: North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six. Kim worries about their awareness and experiences as they mature, emphasizing the need to safeguard them from negative influences.
Kim revealed her effort to maintain family unity by suggesting regular dinners and activities, but the plan did not come to fruition. She reflected on her children’s upbringing, noting the contrast between their reality and her own childhood, which involved successful co-parenting by Kris Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, and Robert Kardashian Sr.
Despite Kanye’s claims of being denied access to his children, Kim refuted the allegations, stating that he has never reached out. She highlighted that despite their divorce, they remain in the same location with the same address, ensuring he knows where his children are located.
