Apple is currently hosting its annual WWDC Developers Conference at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, unveiling a range of updates for its products, including the iPhone. The upcoming features set to launch later this year promise enhanced customization, improved parental controls, quicker app launching, and a more intuitive Siri assistant. The release is expected to be a major hit, particularly benefiting users with devices compatible with Apple Intelligence.
Initially introduced in 2024, Apple Intelligence faced challenges with several promised features not being delivered. However, the tech giant from the US has been diligently working to enhance this intelligent service, gearing up to introduce the new changes to the general public.
Upon its release in September, Apple Intelligence is anticipated to simplify users’ lives by assisting in calendar organization and offering context-based suggestions in Messages. For instance, if a user receives a message requesting “photos of mom,” Apple Intelligence will promptly display relevant images from the photo library.
Additionally, Safari browsers are undergoing updates, including the introduction of Notify Me, enabling users to monitor web pages for changes like product restocks or price adjustments. Moreover, Safari will feature tabs that automatically organize themselves by topic.
One of the standout enhancements is in photo editing, where the new Apple Intelligence excels in retouching images, removing unwanted objects, extending backgrounds seamlessly, and introducing Spatial Reframing to adjust composition post-photo capture.
Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, highlighted the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology to create user-friendly products. He emphasized the importance of integrating AI into daily products while prioritizing user privacy, marking a significant advancement in Apple’s journey to personalize and enhance its platforms.
The upgraded Apple Intelligence is set to debut in iOS 27 this fall, available on select iPhone models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 range, iPhone 17 models, and the iPhone Air.
