Angine de Poitrine, a Quebecois math rock duo, has had a remarkable year. They began 2026 in relative obscurity but have since performed alongside Shania Twain, opened for Jack White, and clinched the prestigious Polaris Music Prize.
The group from Saguenay, Quebec, is set to embark on a world tour commencing on March 4, 2027, in Melbourne. Comprising the masked performers Khn and Klek, Angine de Poitrine will don their signature polka dot costumes and wield double-neck guitars as they journey through 13 countries, including Australia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Canada, the U.S., Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and the U.K.
Ticket presales for their headline shows will start on October 27, with tickets already available for their festival appearances in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Argentina. The tour will encompass five Canadian cities: Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, and Winnipeg, before concluding in Saguenay on July 30.
Despite this being their most extensive tour to date, Angine de Poitrine, dubbed the “disciples of planet Earth’s rock deities,” are seasoned road warriors, having spent the majority of 2026 touring. By the year’s end, they will have completed 57 shows, predominantly sold out, across Europe and Canada.
