Motorola has introduced a strong competitor to Samsung’s Android dominance with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Max. This new device stands out with its exceptional features, including a massive battery capacity and rapid charging capability that surpass even Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy phones.
Inside the Motorola Edge 70 Max lies a significant 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, designed to prolong usage time for activities like streaming, gaming, and browsing. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries in Samsung devices, the silicon-carbon technology in the Edge Max offers enhanced energy storage without adding bulk or weight to the phone.
When the battery runs low, users can rely on the 90W TurboPower charging feature of the Edge 70 Max for quick refueling. Motorola claims that just six minutes of charging can provide enough power to last a day, surpassing Samsung’s current 60W wired charging capability.
The battery performance of the Edge 70 Max garnered praise from experts at DXOMARK, who awarded it the esteemed Gold Label for its battery life and charging speed.
In addition to its battery prowess, the Motorola Edge 70 Max boasts flagship features like a sharp 6.82-inch Quad HD+ display and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, ensuring smooth performance for various applications, including gaming and AI functions. The phone also incorporates a large vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat during intensive tasks.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI-powered camera system of the Edge 70 Max, equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens for close-up shots.
Further highlights of the device include an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, water resistance, and a premium design available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt.
Wilkin Lee, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Motorola, expressed, “Great technology should look beautiful, perform brilliantly, and fit effortlessly into everyday life. With immersive visuals, powerful performance, all-day battery life, and the responsiveness gamers demand, the Edge 70 Max delivers a premium entertainment experience without compromise.”
The Motorola Edge 70 Max is currently available for purchase in the UK at a price of £699.99.
