According to Greater Manchester Police, a man was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned following a crash with a road sign and streetlight. The A627M has been fully reopened between J20 and J21 after necessary repairs were finished, as confirmed by National Highways.
Drivers heading northbound are advised to follow the yellow Hollow Diamond signs along a designated route due to the earlier crash that caused damage to a lamp column and road sign. Specialized equipment will be required to handle exposed electrical cables at the scene.
National Highways reported that the A627(M) is expected to remain closed throughout the evening due to the overturned car. The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service stated that only one person was involved in the collision, and they managed to exit the vehicle before emergency crews arrived.
