A fatal incident occurred outside a gym in Portland, Oregon, resulting in one fatality and another person being wounded.

The shooting took place in the Hollywood District of Portland at approximately 6:47 am local time. Law enforcement authorities are currently searching for the perpetrator who fled the crime scene.

Emergency responders, including multiple ambulances and fire crews, swiftly arrived at the scene. Portland Fire and Rescue reported their immediate response to the shooting, stating that they were actively providing medical assistance to the injured individuals before transferring them to a medical facility.

This incident follows a recent shooting in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood of Portland, where a 14-year-old was shot on Sunday, accompanied by injuries to a 17-year-old and a 42-year-old.
