A tragic incident occurred when a five-year-old child lost his life after his uncle allegedly attempted to bypass a train crossing barricade. The car, carrying Fabian Riojas, 24, and Emilio Martinez, was struck by the train, resulting in the vehicle being thrown 300 yards down the road in Texas on November 19.

While Riojas was taken to the hospital, the young Emilio succumbed to his injuries. Official records indicate that Riojas is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter. Emilio’s father, Jon, expressed his sorrow, stating that his brother’s misguided attempt to outrun the train ended in tragedy.

Jon has appealed for the charges to be dropped, emphasizing his forgiveness towards his brother. He conveyed that his brother deeply cared for Emilio and would never intentionally harm him.
