A British woman, Bella Culley, who was detained in Georgia on drug-related charges, has returned to the UK. Bella, 19, landed in the UK after being released from a Georgian prison where she had spent several months. Accompanied by her mother, Bella arrived at the airport and was seen with a suitcase that had been found filled with cannabis during her arrest.

Upon their arrival, Bella and her mother were greeted by loved ones before being escorted away by armed police to avoid the media. Bella flew back to the UK on an EasyJet flight from Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, after being in prison for almost six months. The duo checked in for their flight just before departure time, with witnesses noting they were the last to board the plane.

Bella, a trainee nurse from Teesside, was unexpectedly released from prison earlier this week after facing a potential lengthy sentence. She was seen happily reuniting with her family and expressing gratitude following the change in her legal situation. Bella’s emotional reunion with her family was captured as she arrived in London.

In an interview with the Mirror, Bella expressed her surprise at being released. She shared her initial reactions upon leaving prison and being surrounded by cameras. Her first words to her father, who was overjoyed at her release, reflected the relief of being out of jail.
