The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony for 2026 is set to occur on September 26, featuring performances by City and Colour, Our Lady Peace, and Amanda Marshall. The event will be held at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall and will be hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos and Marie-Mai. This year’s inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame include Leslie Feist, The Tragically Hip, Mike Reno, Paul Dean of Loverboy, and Roch Voisine, who will be celebrated throughout the evening.
The ceremony will be a memorable night filled with tributes and performances by various artists such as Allison Russell, Charlotte Cornfield, Isabelle Boulay, Ludovick Bourgeois, Matt Lang, Ruby Waters, Sara Dufour, Sebastian Gaskin, Talk, Tia Wood, and Todd Kerns. Boi-1da will also make a special appearance, while Bruce McCulloch, Finneas, Jay Baruchel, Jim Vallance, Laura Stacey, and Marie-Philip Poulin will serve as the evening’s inductors.
Notable past inductees of the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame include Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and Alanis Morissette. Fans can purchase tickets for the induction celebration at Massey Hall. The ceremony will also be livestreamed on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video.
