Sci-fi enthusiasts are puzzled by recent footage showing a mysterious glowing object floating near an active volcano, resembling a UFO. The video captured by a webcam depicts the object hovering over the Popocatepetl crater in the Mexican states of Puebla and Morelos before swiftly darting away at high velocities. It seemed to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames billowed from the crater. The peculiar event was recorded by monitoring cameras positioned at the base of the volcano last Thursday.

Standing at an elevation of 17,802 feet (5,426 meters), Popocatepetl is among Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Local authorities have not yet issued any statement regarding the unidentified flying object’s origin.

The National Center for Disaster Prevention reported 19 minor eruptions on the same day, accompanied by vapor, gases, and small amounts of ash. They have advised the public to stay clear of the crater and adhere to the 12-kilometer exclusion zone.

UFO expert Jaime Maussan previously suggested that Popocatepetl might serve as an “inter-dimensional portal,” allowing for intergalactic travel between different locations. Maussan dismissed the possibility of any man-made object entering the volcano due to the extreme temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius.

According to Maussan, the University of Bergen in Norway discovered the presence of magnetic storms beneath the volcano, essential for creating X-points that could be used to establish a Dimensional Portal. X-points represent areas where Earth’s magnetic field links with the Sun’s magnetic field, forming a pathway from Earth to the Sun’s atmosphere millions of miles away, resembling an X shape.

In a separate incident, alien enthusiasts have raised concerns about a potential government cover-up following an aircraft crash near Area 51, triggering a military investigation and weeks of speculation. The crash occurred on September 23 outside the classified government facility in Groom Lake, Nevada. The Creech Air Force Base confirmed that the incident involved an aircraft from the 432nd wing assigned to unmanned aerial vehicles.

While an internal investigation has concluded, the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the FBI have initiated a joint inquiry, fueling speculations among UFO enthusiasts. The FAA confirmed imposing a temporary flight restriction for national security reasons in a five-mile radius east of Area 51 on the day of the crash, with further details of the incident remaining undisclosed. The flight restriction was in effect until October 1, encompassing an area near the well-known Extraterrestrial Highway.
