Lucy Fallon, known for her role in Coronation Street, shared on social media that her baby daughter was rushed to the hospital due to being “really sick.” Lucy disclosed that her daughter had fallen ill with a sickness bug, alongside dealing with sinus infections and teething. She expressed the overwhelming challenges she faced over the weekend, feeling lost in the midst of caring for her sick child.
In a candid post online, Lucy, who portrays Bethany Platt on the popular ITV soap opera, opened up about the distressing situation, showcasing her daughter’s health struggles including vomiting, throat, ear, and eye infections, as well as teething and a sickness bug. The emotional post captured the reality of parenting and life’s unexpected challenges.
Lucy’s daughter, with a visibly inflamed eye, was shown in the video as she sat on her mother’s lap. Lucy and her partner Ryan are currently residing with his parents while their own home in West Lancashire undergoes renovations. The couple welcomed their first child, Sonny, in January 2023, followed by the birth of Nancy in January of the same year.
Reflecting on the moment she revealed her second pregnancy to Coronation Street colleagues, Lucy recounted feeling emotional and anxious about their reaction. However, she received support and understanding from the production team, leading her to adjust her filming schedule to prioritize her family.
Lucy and Ryan publicly announced their relationship in June 2021 after meeting online during the pandemic lockdown. Despite the challenges of balancing work and family life, Lucy returned to Coronation Street in July, excited to be back on set. The actress now limits her filming schedule to ensure she can spend quality time with her children, enjoying the opportunity to witness the drama unfold from a different perspective.
