The song is set to be a part of the forthcoming documentary “Run Terry Run,” which chronicles Fox’s inspirational journey battling osteosarcoma and undertaking a cross-country run from St. John’s to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.

Reflecting on the impact of Terry Fox’s historic run in 1980, Adams reminisced about being in Canada touring small venues while Fox’s journey captured national attention. He highlighted how Fox inadvertently became a unifying figure in a slightly divided Canada, bringing people together behind a common cause.

The song’s poignant lyrics encapsulate Fox’s determination and his vision of eradicating cancer, with Adams emotively singing about Fox’s unwavering focus on the finish line despite the physical and emotional hurdles.
