In Ohio, a tragic incident unfolded as a man, identified as Ryan Eagon, 42, carried out a violent act resulting in the deaths of two children and another man before taking his own life. The Tiffin Police Department revealed that Eagon allegedly committed these heinous acts after learning that his wife planned to leave their residence due to ongoing domestic problems.

The police responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on Huss Street in Tiffin. Upon arrival, they discovered four victims with gunshot wounds. A woman, unharmed physically but visibly distressed, was also present at the scene. The authorities are treating the incident as a suspected murder-suicide.

Dustin Willey, 29, the father of one of the children, was assisting the woman in moving out when the tragic events unfolded. Willey and the woman were inside the house packing belongings while the children were outside near a vehicle. They were startled by cries from the eldest boy, leading to a confrontation with Eagon in the driveway.

Eagon reportedly chased Willey, firing multiple shots at him, before turning the gun on the children and then Willey again. Finally, Eagon took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The mother, witnessing the horror, called emergency services and carried her lifeless children back into the house.

Willey and the seven-year-old boy were rushed to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. The baby and Eagon were pronounced dead at the scene. Colleagues described Willey as a dedicated father who always put his child first.

Police Chief David Pauly expressed the community’s shock at the tragic events and urged residents to keep the victims’ families and emergency responders in their thoughts during this difficult time. Autopsies are pending, and the investigation remains ongoing.
