Epping sex offender Hadush Kebatu was seen carrying an avocado-themed bag in London. Kebatu, who recently served a 12-month jail sentence for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and a woman in Essex, was mistakenly released by prison staff at HMP Chelmsford. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that he was last spotted in the Dalston area of Hackney, East London on Friday evening, now carrying a unique white bag with avocado prints.

Authorities are conducting a thorough search for Kebatu, who was last sighted in Dalston wearing a prison-issued grey tracksuit. Additional officers have been deployed to aid in the search efforts. Local residents are urged to report any sightings promptly. Witnesses observed Kebatu returning to the prison gates multiple times before being directed to a railway station.

Kebatu traveled from Chelmsford to Stratford in London by train and made several journeys across the city with access to funds. Despite knowing he was to be deported, Kebatu appeared disoriented and unsure of his next steps. The driver highlighted Kebatu’s confusion and distress during the incident.
