    “Gaza Ceasefire Crumbles, Violence Escalates”

A Gaza ceasefire, eagerly anticipated, has crumbled as the Israeli Prime Minister instructed his forces to launch forceful attacks on the Palestinian territory. The Israeli PM accused Hamas of breaching the peace agreement, with Hamas retaliating by alleging 125 ceasefire violations by Israel.

Israel reported that a coffin delivered by Hamas on Monday did not contain the expected body of a deceased hostage. The ceasefire, which lasted two weeks, ended abruptly with a surge of violence and extensive military actions being ordered.

According to Gazan officials, since the ceasefire began on October 10, Israel has killed 94 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Hamas accused Israel of attempting to create false reasons for taking aggressive actions in Gaza.

Hamas claimed that Israel is impeding the search for bodies in the Strip and urged mediators to allow humanitarian efforts to proceed without political interference. Palestinians in Gaza are on edge, anticipating renewed Israeli attacks.

In Rafah, southern Gaza, heavy gunfire and explosions were reported on Tuesday. Israel accused Hamas of misidentifying the remains of a recently returned captive, whose body had been found two years earlier.

Since the commencement of Israel’s conflict with Gaza in October 2023, at least 68,527 individuals have been killed, and 170,395 wounded. During the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023, 1,200 people perished in Israel, with around 200 taken captive.

The October 7 attacks led Israel to confront various adversaries, including Lebanese Hezbollah, Yemeni Houthis, pro-Iran Iraqi militia, and Syrian factions. Additionally, the conflict prompted US-Israeli strikes on Iran earlier this year, targeting Tehran’s nuclear facilities.

Many of Israel’s adversaries, supported by Iran, have been severely weakened, potentially taking years to rebuild their strength. The Iranian regime’s backers have also suffered losses due to prolonged conflicts with Israel, resulting in significant harm to Hamas in Gaza.

Critics have accused Netanyahu of instigating provocations to undermine the ceasefire. Muhammad Shehada, an analyst with the European Council on Foreign Relations, suggested that Netanyahu’s actions aim to reignite hostilities in Gaza.

Both sides have alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement, necessitating significant diplomatic efforts to mend the peace deal. US President Donald Trump is reportedly closely monitoring the Israeli military’s actions against Gaza for further developments.
