Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost starting next month. Popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus will be accessible without an increase in bills. This enhancement will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers, set to launch on screens on April 1.
To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers can simply tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, content will be available on-demand and via Virgin TV Go. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing value-packed entertainment seamlessly. He highlighted that Sky Atlantic offers captivating drama and compelling stories from the UK and the US, promising an enhanced viewing experience for over a million Virgin TV customers without any additional cost or action required.
Meanwhile, Sky has unveiled a new Ultimate TV plan, featuring premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, priced at £24. This plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as a “new era” for Sky and NOW, combining Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription.
