Tyson Fury has unveiled his trio of desired opponents as he prepares for his comeback to the boxing ring this year, with a potential clash against Anthony Joshua being a top priority.

The ‘Gypsy King’ previously announced his retirement in January last year following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk but has since reversed his decision. Recent months have seen Fury intensifying his training efforts, currently honing his skills in Thailand in preparation for a significant year in the sport.

Training alongside WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena, the 37-year-old Fury has been vocal about facing potential adversaries. Expressing interest in rematches, Fury has been eyeing a third fight with Usyk after their last encounter in December 2024.

In addition to Usyk, the two-time former heavyweight champion is also open to engaging in bouts with compatriots Joshua and Fabio Wardley. Fury recently shared a compelling image on his official Instagram account, depicting a confrontation with the three aforementioned heavyweight rivals.

While a trilogy fight with Usyk seems unlikely due to statements from Usyk’s advisor Serhii Lapin suggesting the rivalry is concluded, fans have been eager for a British showdown between Fury and Joshua. However, uncertainties loom over Joshua’s future following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close associates.

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, hinted that a potential Fury-Joshua match may not materialize until late 2026, if at all, considering the recent events. Warren acknowledged the emotional toll on Joshua and the uncertainties surrounding both fighters’ futures in light of the tragic incident.
