A tragic incident involving a police car colliding with a minivan has led to the loss of two young boys and left their three sisters in critical condition. The devastating crash occurred on the evening of October 23 in Baytown, east of Houston, when the police officer, responding to an emergency call, struck the family’s Honda Odyssey at an intersection.

Initial investigations, based on in-car footage and witness testimonies, suggest that the police officer had the right of way with a green light at the intersection where the tragedy unfolded.

In an update shared on the Baytown Police Facebook page, it was disclosed that two siblings, aged 8 and 10, lost their lives due to injuries sustained in the crash. The other two siblings, who were also in the vehicle during the collision, are currently in critical condition. The names of the children have not been disclosed out of respect for the family.
