Batches of a popular QVC beauty product are undergoing a recall due to safety concerns that could lead to injuries. Customers are urged to verify if their purchases are affected and discontinue using them immediately.
The recall pertains to specific ‘2x14x2ml’ sets of the M.Asam VITAMIN C Glow Ampullen sold by QVC, where a small amount of liquid glass material was discovered in the serums, presenting a risk of skin injuries upon contact.
A notification from the Government’s Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) stated that the product poses a risk as the glass particles could cause minor injuries and cuts during usage, not meeting the required safety regulations.
The affected serums bear a batch code of ‘078CF0110’ and a barcode of ‘4049639455177’, with production originating from Germany. Consumers are advised to cease using the product and contact the retailer for resolution.
In a separate incident, OPSS issued a product recall for ‘Bubble Up, Mermaid You Look’ bath bombs by One Beyond, as certain products with the batch code ‘2026103’ contain a prohibited ingredient, posing a serious chemical risk.
The bath bombs include butylphenyl methylpropional (BMHCA), a forbidden substance in cosmetics with potential harm to reproductive health and skin sensitization. Items with the barcode ‘5013692253406’ sold between July 2025 and September 2025 should be returned to One Beyond for a full refund.
For additional details, consumers can reach out to the importer Corsair Toiletries Ltd at 01727 874698 or visit One Beyond’s recall website. One Beyond advises against using the product and encourages returning it to their stores for a refund, apologizing for any inconvenience caused.
