Among the highlighted toys is the Jurassic World Primal Hatch T.Rex, allowing kids to hatch their own dinosaur by tapping the eggshell and engaging with it. Wicked For Good Singing Dolls are also expected to be popular, coinciding with the release of the final movie in the franchise this month.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, Lego and Mattel’s Hot Wheels Racing F1 Grand Prix Circuit have made the list, alongside the Monster Jam Smash & Bash Grave Digger RC. Additionally, there are collectibles such as Dress to Impress Mystery Model Dolls, Mini Brands Fill the Fridge Playset, and Pokemon.
Building sets, particularly Lego products like Speed Champions F1 Racing Cars and One Piece the Going Merry Pirate Ship, have shown significant growth for the second consecutive year. The UK toy market, valued at £3.9 billion, is expected to see 23% of its annual sales generated during the Christmas period.
Parents’ spending on children’s gifts has risen by 12% year-on-year, marking the fourth consecutive year of growth, as reported by market intelligence company The Insights Family.
