Sussex Police confirmed the charges against Hayler, stating that the offenses occurred in West Sussex during the specified period. The victim, who remains anonymous, has received support from specialized officers as the investigation progresses.

Hayler’s legal representative denied the allegations on his behalf, emphasizing his full cooperation with the authorities and his confidence in the judicial process to clear his name. Price’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment from the Mirror.
