Tesco has announced a special promotion for Clubcard members this December, offering two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion, valid throughout the month, applies to all third-party gift cards available at Tesco stores.

This means that customers will receive double points for purchasing any gift card from Tesco, not just Tesco-branded cards. The additional points will be automatically credited to their Clubcard account.

Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the benefits of the promotion, stating that with two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful gifts while also earning rewards for themselves.

Tesco has approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions. Members receive one point for every £1 spent on groceries in stores or online, or for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations. Points are also accrued for spending on Tesco Mobile, Tesco credit cards, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card.
