Brave Kids Rescue Dad in Road Rage Knife Attack

A courageous father, who was viciously attacked with a knife by a man exhibiting aggressive behavior in an incident of road rage, has commended his two young kids for rescuing him. Chris Davison, 38, was driving his six-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son to a Halloween event on October 17 when a black pickup truck began tailgating him. The driver of the truck, displaying hostile actions, forced Davison off California State Route 67 twice, revving the engine and persistently following him for several miles.

According to Davison, both men got out of their vehicles after the truck driver revved his engine a second time. The man, described as having a menacing gaze, suddenly attacked Davison with a knife, stabbing him multiple times in front of his frightened children who were still in the car.

Describing the incident, Davison recounted how he tried to defend himself by raising his arm, but the attacker repeatedly stabbed him. The assailant then drove away, leaving Davison severely wounded and bleeding. Davison’s quick-thinking son managed to find items to help stop the bleeding, including a phone charger cord.

Using their sweaters, the children assisted in stemming the bleeding, with his daughter, dressed in a Halloween costume, attempting to signal passing drivers for help. A friend of Davison, who was on a motorcycle, noticed the situation, cleaned a blood-soaked phone, and called emergency services. Paramedics arrived 27 minutes later and discovered that Davison’s essential organs had miraculously been spared, enabling him to survive despite the severity of his injuries.

Expressing his gratitude for his survival, Davison expressed his immense appreciation for being able to be with his children every night. The suspect, Noah Kane, was apprehended the following day by San Diego County authorities and has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including attempted murder.

A GoFundMe campaign for Davison had almost reached its £3,800 ($5,000) goal by Thursday, with nearly £3,000 ($4,000) raised to cover his medical expenses, lost income during recovery, and essential family needs. Supporters can contribute to the fundraiser by clicking the provided link.
