Bernie Ecclestone’s spouse has shared insights into how they manage parenting their five-year-old child, despite the significant 46-year age gap between them. The ex-Formula One chief, now aged 95, and his 49-year-old partner currently reside in the serene Swiss town of Gstaad.
Their son was born in 2020 when Ecclestone was 89, marking a new chapter in their lives after being married for eight years. The family divides their time between the picturesque Swiss Alps and Fabiana’s native Brazil.
Flosi and Ecclestone have raised their child to be trilingual, with Ace proficient in Portuguese from his mother, English from his father, and Swiss German from attending the International Preschool in Gstaad.
In a recent interview with Bild, Fabiana discussed their parenting approach, emphasizing their teamwork despite the age gap. Ecclestone also shared his perspective on their son’s capabilities, praising Ace’s intelligence and adaptability.
Fabiana highlighted Ace’s diverse interests and skills, mentioning his early proficiency in skiing and his love for various foods, with sushi being a favorite. Ecclestone expressed his hopes of being perceived positively by his son and treating him with the respect he deserves.
There is a considerable age difference between Ecclestone’s eldest child, Deborah, and Ace, who has recently started school. Ecclestone mentioned opting for a quieter celebration with his immediate family rather than a big party, indicating a preference for quality time with Fabi and Ace.
Furthermore, Ecclestone recently sold a yacht named after his daughters due to limited use, with reports indicating it was only used eight days per year. Another yacht owned by the Formula 1 mogul is also up for sale, providing insights into his lifestyle choices.
