Tracey Connelly, the mother of Baby P, has acknowledged her curiosity in BDSM fetishes and disclosed that she visited a sex club following her release from prison.
Having been incarcerated for her involvement in her son’s tragic death in 2007, the 44-year-old confessed to engaging in “titillating” conversations after her release in 2022.
Connelly made an appearance before a Parole Board panel today to provide a public testimony regarding the death of Peter, over 18 years after the tragic incident. During the Parole Board session, she was questioned about her relationships and sexual preferences as they deliberated on her potential release or transfer to an open prison facility.
It was revealed that she was recalled in August of the previous year due to engaging in a clandestine year-long relationship online, involving the exchange of sexually explicit messages.
She acknowledged concealing her troubled past from her partner before embarking on activities such as intimate encounters, movie outings, and dining together. Following the exposure of this affair, she was incarcerated once more for failing to report the relationship to probation authorities.
While admitting to discussing BDSM fetishes through messages, she clarified that they never acted upon those discussions, stating that it was merely for mutual excitement.
Despite being monitored with an electronic tag, she confessed to visiting a sex club, mentioning that it was out of curiosity and that she did not witness any explicit activities during her visit. She expressed no urgency to revisit the club.
Discussing her interest in BDSM, she emphasized that it is not solely about unconventional practices but rather about establishing trust to relinquish control to a partner.
She elaborated, stating, “I encountered the concept in a book years ago. It’s a subject that intrigued me. To me, it’s about finding a companion with whom you have enough trust to surrender control.
“Given that I am constantly in control of myself every minute of every day, striving to avoid causing harm or making mistakes. I have been the strong one for as long as I can recall… It’s a form of intimacy.”
Connelly, aged 44, was sentenced to a minimum of five years in
