A woman who acquired the most haunted doll in the UK has revealed the ongoing torment it brings into her life, yet she has taken on the responsibility of caring for other possessed objects. Candice Collins, a 43-year-old resident of Cornwall, now owns a rare newspaper from the Salem witch trials and possesses eerie items such as a cursed painting and a doll resembling a trapped human boy.
Despite initially believing that the doll named Norman was causing chaos in her life, Candice’s experiences have escalated, including hearing whispers, feeling watched, and encountering nightmares of being pursued by mysterious entities. She has also witnessed paranormal phenomena like shadows, strange sounds, and unexplained movements of her collection of haunted items.
Candice, who leads a paranormal investigation group called Cornish Ghost Whispers, purchased Norman from his previous owner, who suffered a series of misfortunes after acquiring the doll. To break the curse, the previous owner sold the doll to Candice, who was drawn to its childlike appearance. Despite the escalating supernatural occurrences, Candice remains committed to her collection of haunted objects, even as she faces potential risks to her own well-being.
In addition to Norman, Candice’s collection includes a sinister clown doll named Clive and other eerie artifacts like a dybbuk witchcraft box and a cursed Devil’s ring. She plans to eventually establish a public museum dedicated to paranormal research, but for now, she continues to safeguard these haunted objects in her home to protect others from their potential malevolent influence.
Candice dreams of the day when her collection can be shared with the public, but she remains cautious about the potential dangers these objects may pose if released into the world.
