Amazon has announced significant discounts of up to 60% on Apple TV, Paramount+, and MGM+ subscriptions to celebrate the beginning of its latest Prime Day sale. The e-commerce giant launched its site-wide sales event on June 23, offering subscriptions to various major streaming platforms starting at £2.99.
As part of the sale, Amazon customers can now subscribe to Apple TV for £4.99 per month, a 50% discount from the original price of £9.99. Subscribers who take advantage of this offer will enjoy the reduced rate for two months before it reverts back to the standard £9.99 monthly fee unless canceled.
Similarly, MGM+, home to “Project Hail Mary,” is now available for £2.99 for two months, down from the regular price of £5.99. Additionally, Paramount+ subscriptions are discounted to £2.99 for one month, reduced from £7.99. These deals are valid until July 2 as part of Amazon’s Prime Day 2026 sale.
During June 23-26, Prime members and shoppers with a Prime 30-day free trial can access exclusive discounts on thousands of items. Prime Video is also offering free trials for Lionsgate+, Studiocanal Presents, and Crunchyroll.
It is important to note that both discounted streaming subscriptions and free trials will automatically transition to standard paid subscriptions once the promotional period ends. Subscribers are advised to cancel their subscription before the discounted or free period concludes to avoid being charged the standard rate.
Amazon customers can subscribe to Apple TV through Prime Video for £4.99 per month until July 2. Additionally, Sky is providing complimentary streaming subscriptions with its TV packages, allowing customers who sign up for the £24 Ultimate TV bundle to enjoy free access to Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ along with around 135 channels including Sky Atlantic.
For those interested in Apple TV content, the platform has released highly acclaimed titles this year such as the comedy horror series “Widow’s Bay,” which holds a remarkable 98% Rotten Tomatoes score. Another recent addition is the second season of “Sugar,” a neo-noir detective series starring Colin Farrell as private investigator John Sugar.
MGM+ offers a selection of new hit titles including Ryan Gosling’s space epic “Project Hail Mary,” which is included in the Amazon deal along with series like “Outlander” and the James Bond film collection. On Paramount+, members can catch the latest episodes of Michael Fassbender’s spy thriller “The Agency” and the new Yellowstone spin-off “Dutton Ranch” for £2.99.
