Manchester United is reportedly willing to let go of Bruno Fernandes if a club activates his £56.68 million release clause. The 31-year-old midfielder drew interest from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia during the recent transfer window, but he declined their advances despite a hefty £700,000-per-week salary offer.
Fernandes has reaffirmed his commitment to Manchester United in discussions with the media, stating that he is not considering his future at Old Trafford until after the 2026 World Cup. However, reports indicate that his contract includes a provision allowing him to move to a non-English club if the specified fee is met.
Kitbag is currently offering up to 70% off on football kits and merchandise from various Premier League teams, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to BBC Sport, Fernandes’ contract, running until 2027 with a possible extension, permits his departure from England if an overseas club bids £56.68 million. Despite interest from European and Saudi Arabian clubs, no formal offers have been made to Manchester United, who are keen on retaining Fernandes but open to facilitating his exit if he desires.
Since joining from Sporting CP for £47 million in 2020, Fernandes has been a pivotal player for United, contributing significantly with 100 goals and 87 assists in 299 appearances. He mentioned discussions with United executives about his future, indicating that while the club wishes for him to stay, they are open to a transfer due to the substantial offers received.
