“Big Knit Campaign: Win Fruit-Inspired Knitwear by House of Sunny”

This fall marks the return of the Big Knit campaign by innocent smoothies, revamped with a touch of fashion. Led by The Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith and showcased by knitters from Age UK, this year’s initiative has partnered with House of Sunny to introduce five exclusive knits inspired by fruits found in innocent’s smoothies.

The sweaters and cardigans feature vibrant and playful designs characteristic of House of Sunny, displaying fruit-themed patterns at the forefront. Starting October 22, the knitwear collection is up for grabs through giveaways on innocent’s website and Instagram account.

Prue expressed her enthusiasm for the campaign, emphasizing its broader purpose beyond just hats, aiming to aid Age UK in supporting the well-being of older individuals. Since its inception in 2003, the Big Knit campaign has raised over £3.6 million to assist elderly citizens across the UK. Collaborating with Age UK, the campaign involves hand-knitting tiny hats for innocent smoothie bottles, with 30p from every sale contributing to enhancing the lives of seniors.

While traditionally focused on charming knitted hats for smoothie bottles, this year’s campaign goes a step further by offering fruity knitwear as prizes for participants to win and wear. The collection features five designs inspired by strawberries, cherries, mangoes, lemons, and pineapples in crew neck jumpers or collared cardigans.

To stand a chance of winning one of these knitwear pieces, individuals can visit innocent’s website and Instagram account starting October 22 at 10 am for more details on entering the draw. Additional releases are scheduled for October 24, 28, and 31, as well as November 4.

The competition will close on Wednesday, November 5, at 11:59 pm, with winners selected shortly thereafter. A total of 450 cardigans are available for winners, with 150 each of strawberry, cherry, and lemon designs, along with 300 jumpers featuring 150 pineapple and 150 mango designs.

To enter, participants simply need to follow the provided link, submit their name, email, and dress size (S-M/M-L) in a secure form for a chance to win. Donations to Age UK can be made during entry to support the charity’s work while participating in the knitwear draw.

Apart from online contributions, individuals can also support the Age UK Big Knit campaign by purchasing innocent’s smoothies adorned with one of 1.3 million knitted and crochet hats. These products are already available at Sainsbury’s and Co-op stores nationwide, so keep an eye out during your next grocery shopping trip.
