The organization managing Revolution bars has established a deadline for bids in the upcoming week after initiating a sale process. The Revel Collective, which operates 62 venues under the Revolution, Revolucion de Cuba, and Peach Pubs brands, announced its decision to sell in October 2025 due to declining sales.

According to a report by Sky News, interested buyers are required to submit their offers by January 9, with FTI Consulting overseeing the formal sale proceedings. Neos Hospitality has shown interest in acquiring some of The Revel Collective sites, but it remains uncertain whether they will submit a bid.

The Mirror reached out to The Revel Collective, previously known as Revolution Bars, for a statement. The company had previously commenced a sales procedure in April 2024, which was halted after rejecting an offer from competitor Nightcap. In 2024, the business closed approximately 36 sites as part of a restructuring plan approved by the High Court.

In an update provided in October 2025, company executives cited ongoing challenging economic conditions and government interventions as factors impeding their progress since the restructuring. Revenues decreased by 7.4% to £26.3 million in the three months leading to September, primarily due to a 10.5% decline in like-for-like sales in the bars segment.

The company attributed the sales decline to cost-of-living pressures affecting its younger customer base, with debts rising to £25.3 million from £22.1 million. Luke Johnson, former Pizza Express executive, assumed the role of Chairman of The Revel Collective in September, succeeding Keith Edelman. Johnson expressed interest in acquiring established companies with unique characteristics to potentially lead the market.
