Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might consider participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was presented, despite being deterred by this year’s show. The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following the current season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, who is part of the ITV program lineup. Speculation arose about Littler’s potential appearance on the show due to Angry Ginge’s involvement, with Littler indicating his interest if the financial terms were favorable.
“I might consider it for the right price. I could go for a short while,” stated Littler when discussing the possibility of joining the show similar to Ginge. However, he has now revealed more about the financial threshold needed for him to consider it, expressing hesitance about joining the jungle adventure with Ant and Dec.
During an interview with talkSPORT, Littler admitted, “I previously mentioned I’d participate if the offer was lucrative, but after witnessing the challenges, I don’t think I could handle it. It’s not something I can do.” When asked if he would reconsider for £10 million, Littler declined. Yet, when the interviewer proposed a staggering £50 million, Littler’s response shifted to a tentative “maybe.”
“I’m apprehensive about dealing with snakes and similar situations,” Littler elaborated on his reservations about entering the jungle. He humorously added, “Who knows, I might end up there… No, I’m not!” While Angry Ginge prepares for his next trial, Littler gears up to defend his title at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship, commencing at Ally Pally next month. Last year, he became the youngest dart world champion in history, claiming the top spot and aiming to retain the prestigious title this year.
Littler aims to follow in Gary Anderson’s footsteps by attempting to become the first player in a decade to retain the Sid Waddell trophy. His defense begins with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
