An American mother, dubbed the “worst ever,” has been arrested and charged with sexual assault for allegedly giving birth to a child fathered by her daughter’s 14-year-old school dance partner. Robyn Polston, aged 43, was apprehended by the Washington Police Department on November 3rd. Legal documents reveal that she stands accused of delivering a baby in January, with the child’s father identified as her daughter’s teenage acquaintance.

Polston is facing two charges of criminal sexual assault involving a victim aged between 13 and 17, along with two counts of possession of child pornography. If convicted, she could potentially serve up to 15 years in prison for each offense. Currently, she is in custody without bail and is scheduled for arraignment next month, having not yet entered a plea.

Following a tip received post-delivery, authorities initiated an investigation leading to the discovery of the baby’s birth certificate on February 13th. Notably, the infant shared the same middle and last name as the alleged victim. When questioned about the father’s identity, Polston allegedly claimed it was an individual named Brian in his twenties, who had allegedly disappeared post-birth.

Subsequent DNA testing conducted on Polston, the baby, and the teenager confirmed that Polston and the boy were indeed the biological parents. Investigators learned that Polston had supervised a school dance attended by the teenager and her daughter in May 2023.

Further investigations uncovered sexually explicit content on Google accounts linked to the teenager’s phone, implicating Polston and the minor. Assistant State’s Attorney Cassandra Mullikin reviewed the material and concluded that Polston had taken the images. Allegations suggest that Polston and the minor used burner phones and false names to communicate and attempted to conceal evidence of their relationship.

Prosecutors argued for her continued detention pending trial, citing concerns about her compliance with court orders and potential contact with the teenager. Polston will remain incarcerated until her court hearing on December 4th.
