“Sky Unveils Ultimate Plan: Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max & More”

Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that is sure to capture attention. The television provider has announced the launch of a compelling subscription package that combines several of the most popular streaming services worldwide at a reduced monthly rate. Priced at just £24 per month, both new and current subscribers will soon have access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the highly anticipated HBO Max app, set to debut next month.

According to Sky, this bundled offering provides excellent value, with approximately £20 worth of top streaming applications included for a lower cost. Considering Sky’s current basic plan is priced at £15 per month, the added content effectively becomes available for just an extra £9.

Moreover, customers subscribing to the Ultimate TV plan will receive access to over 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, and more.

In a further benefit, Sky Cinema users will enjoy a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated directly into their planner, enabling them to watch Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app.

Existing users of Disney+ who subscribe directly can seamlessly transfer their current plan, whether Standard or Premium, to Sky while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has also confirmed that all supported applications can be accessed directly from the homepage, offering fully integrated content. This feature allows users to discover shows and movies through voice search and save them to a playlist for future viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that this update signifies a “new era” for Sky and NOW, uniting Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. She highlighted the integrated viewing experience and exceptional value for customers, with HBO Max included at no additional charge for NOW Entertainment subscribers.

Sky emphasized that this move underscores its commitment to innovation, simplifying the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment conveniently in one place.

Included in the update are offerings such as Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads starting in March, HBO Max Basic with Ads launching in the UK & Ireland on 26th March, Hayu with a selection of top shows available from March, and over 130 channels from Sky.
