Following her win, 37-year-old Dr Leah completed her studies at the University of East Anglia in 2011 and obtained registration with the General Medical Council. Unlike many other contestants on The Apprentice who enter with a detailed business plan, Dr Leah had not initially considered this aspect.

Just a year after her triumph, Dr Leah, in partnership with Lord Sugar, established the Dr Leah Clinic in central London, later expanding to open branches in Essex and London. The duo also introduced Dr Leah Skincare in October 2022, which proved to be a profitable venture.

Hailing from Derry, Northern Ireland, the businesswoman specializes in non-surgical cosmetic procedures. She has voiced her concerns about the growing trend of cosmetic surgery tourism, where numerous Britons travel overseas for cheaper treatments, often at a significant discount compared to UK prices, despite the associated risks.

Dr Leah emphasized the risks involved in undergoing surgery abroad, pointing out the challenges of aftercare if complications arise. While acknowledging the existence of skilled surgeons outside the UK, she highlighted the potential difficulties patients face in seeking corrective treatment back home.
